Site radio “upgrade”

I’ve bought one of these Bluetooth dongles so I can stream music into my Fm site radio.

Why ? Because if I hear zoe ball say AMAZING or SO EMOTIONAL or WAS REDUCED TO TEARS one more time, my site radio that my kids got me for Fathers Day is going to end up being launched out of a window.

I’ve listened to rad 2 for years and enjoyed Evans (marmite I know) & The Bruce. Since Evans went to Virgin I’ve missed...

Warning to Tikkurila Intact users.

Make sure that your Shellac primer is bone dry before coating it up with Intact.
I tinted Isofix to mid gray, sprayed it at 10am, sanded at 2pm and sprayed Intact 8 at 3pm.
The black tint prolonged the curing of Isofix.
Some of the spraying was done at 7pm with no problems.
Yes it was cold in the workshop 12°

I've got to price a job and the customer has been Googling and came across Tikkurila, likes the look of it and wants it. End of!
"Yes madam, of course madam." I say with a scared look :scared:

The only problem I have is, they want vinyl silk on lids and walls and the Nova 20 is the only thing that is like that with Tikk. Unless someone here knows different.

In the meantime,,, has anyone used the Nova 20 vinyl silk and what is it like?
i.e. coverage, can they do F&B colours etc.

This guy is spraying MDF with Graco AAA using Sayerlack paints from Movac bought in UK. The one he uses has 15% sheen.
Just posting for interest as not my thing but furniture painters may be interested.
Really high end stuff.
Better than watching TV

Roller sleeve choice

I know this is a topic talked about alot but why do we have 1.75 and 1.5 inch diameter sleeves?

Also is their any real advantage using one over the another.

I do use both but I am kind of tempted to ditch the 1.75 as some fit standard frames and others are so tight but I have moved back to using a 9" Hamilton double armed frame for this reason a bit torn as I buy alot of Hamilton sleeves as they are very cheap and easier to get hold of but I have to say I prefer to use 1.5 inch ones.

Reading the different threads about problems arising from using Intact over shellac etc got me to thinking. Is it better to stick to one system, BM Advance over high hide for example. Or mix and match. Got to admit that I'm very much a " tinker man ". My go to Primer/Uc is Caparol Haftprimer and for Satin finish or gloss (rare), it's Andura Titanium. I also have Tikkurila Otex Akva on the van as well as a range of Jonnos wood stain products. I use Crown Covertex on lids and Valspar V700 on...

At the National Painting and Decorating Show in November, we were very appreciative when many decorators, including a number of PPS stars, agreed to be filmed at our stand talking about their experiences with Benjamin Moore.

Over the next couple of weeks we'll be sharing the videos on our social media channels. Here is a link to the world premiere!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who contributed.
