Having to paint new hardwood (sapele) windows. Using solvent based clear Visir primer left 24 hrs (not too thick as I know it can take a long time to dry). Even after 3 coats of Ultimate I can see through to the wood ![:scratchhead:]( "Scratch Head :scratchhead:")
. Paint has been stored correctly, stirred, synthetic brushes etc, tried both with and without Floetrol. Tried a test piece over Coverstain instead of Visir and coverage vastly better. Thought using their recommended system ought to make life easier?
