Hi all. Have a job coming up painting a house internally but someone has used waterbased gloss directly over the original oil gloss on all woodwork. No sanding or primer! It's coming off in places and can easily be scratched off in places especially the smooth door frames. I'm going to spend some time getting some off if I can but doing the lot including the 6 panel grained doors is not possible I think. What would you prime with? Nightmare these types of jobs.
