What paint to use on old artex

I have patched an artex ceiling as you can see in the picture. When I paint the emulsion...Optiva 5...This will look whiter over the patched artex than the older part. To fix this I would use coverstain first but I hate using it. Really hate using! Stinks.. Probably end up using Bullseye 123 and fingers crossed it works as this kitchen ceiling ain't to bad. Any other stuff on the market that BM or Tikkurila make that will do job? Thanks....
