Car transporting costs

Bit of an odd one, but in my move from Yorkshire down to Surrey, I am bringing a couple of my cars down to live inside my new workshop.
I've never had to transport vehicles for a long time and for such a distance.
A friend suggested shiply the site aimed at giving quotes for odd moves like this.
Prices are coming in at around £400.
Does anyone know any other alternatives or other sites etc?
