Dulux surprise

I'm at a large field study/education centre and trying to use up their old stock of paint and get some decent stuff in.
There was half a tin of Dulux WB primer undercoat of undermined age. Tried it back to back with Johnstones
Johncryl primer undercoat and it actually covered slightly better. I'm overcoating a hideous blue on door frames and skirting and it's taking two coats plus two top coats of Aqua. Only just getting away with that to be honest.
I'll be checking prices of the Dulux...
