Problems with silk paint peeling in new skuttle

Hi everyone
First post was having a drink with a few of you lads in Coventry
Quick question
When you have a new paint skuttle any tips on how to stop it from peeling when using silk in it for the first time
I've thought of priming it with some zinsser
Any suggestions would be great thanks Dean
