WB Satin and new woodwork

I do a lot of new work for a couple of decent builders and I really like the finish and the ever lasting whiteness of the Dulux QD Satin. Covers fine over old wood work ( 1 bullseye 2x satin ) no problem.

My problem is over new primed mdf arcs/doors, its the edges which of the mdf it won't cling on to. So far no one has bat an eyelid but it bothers me.

Was thinking using coverstain instead? Or just use a different WB satin?

I use Dulux Qd because it's easily available here and I wasn't...
